Fulham have made an approach to AC Milan for the potential signing of Samuel Chukwueze.
With just hours remaining in the transfer window, the Premier League club has taken action, and both teams are now in talks to reach an agreement quickly.
This was confirmed by football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on Monday night.
Romano shared on X: “Understand Fulham have approached AC Milan to sign Samuel Chukwueze.”
“Negotiations ongoing between all parties involved with short time to make it happen.”
If Chukwueze completes his move to Fulham, he will join two of his Super Eagles teammates, Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey, at the Premier League club.
Chukwueze has seen limited action under new manager Sergio Conceicao and has struggled to make an impact. The Nigerian winger was also criticized for his part in Inter Milan’s late equalizer on Sunday night.
With AC Milan having already agreed on a deal with Napoli for Noah Okafor, it remains to be seen whether they will proceed with Chukwueze’s departure.
