Man City vs Real Madrid: Referee to officiate Champions League semi-final game confirmed

The Referee that will officiate the UEFA Champions League semi-final first-leg tie between Manchester City and Real Madrid has been confirmed.

Romanian referee, István Kovács, has been appointed by UEFA to oversee the Champions League semi-final first-leg clash between Manchester City and Real Madrid.

The match will take place at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday night.

It will be the first time that Kovács takes charge of a Real Madrid fixture in the competition.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has named his side’s squad to face Manchester City in Tuesday’s clash.

Ancelotti named 23 players to tackle Man City, which includes the likes of Luka Modrić, Casemiro, Karim Benzema, Vini Jr. and Rodrygo.

Real Madrid head to the game following a 3-1 victory over Osasuna in their last game.
