NFF Appoints Hajji Gafar As South West Coordinator For U19 Championship

The board of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has approved the appointment of Chairman of the Lagos State Football Association, LSFA, Hajji Gafar Olawale Liameed, as the Zonal South-West Coordinator for the 2025 U19 NPFL Youth Championship.

The appointment which was communicated to him in a letter signed by Secretary/Legal Adviser to the board, Danladi Ibrahim, Esq, described it as a fitting recognition of his extensive experience as a football administrator.

The letter reads:, “this appointment is a fitting recognition of your extensive experience as a football administrator and your unwavering dedication to the growth of sports in Nigeria, and your well-known passion for youth development through football.

Gafar has been a major player in football youth development in the country through his club, 36 Lion which he has used to positively impact the lives of many young people.

His dynamic leadership as Lagos FA boss has further buttressed and reinforced his passionate, genuine interest in matters as it affects the youth.
