NOC President Hosts Nigeria Junior Curling Team

Following their historic feat in the qualifier for the 2024 Youth Winter Olympics Games, the President of the Nigeria Olympic Committee( NOC) Engr Habu Gumel hosted the team on Thursday.

Team Nigeria youth curlers made history by becoming the first African Nation to qualify for the 2024 Youth Winter Olympics.

Despite starting the qualifier in Finland on a losing note, they rallied back later in the qualifier to pick the ticket .

The president hosted the team at the NOC building in Lagos and urged them to make the country proud in the competition.

 The 2024 Youth Winter Olympics, will tak place in the Gangwon Province, South Korea.
