Onyeka may leave Brentford due to limited playing time

Super Eagles midfielder Frank Onyeka may need to leave Brentford to secure more playing time.

Onyeka has been linked with La Liga’s Girona, a surprise team this season that will compete in the UEFA Champions League.

It has even been reported that the La Liga have tabled a formal bid for the defensive midfielder.

Brentford boss Thomas Frank is open to Onyeka exploring opportunities that guarantee him more game time.

Last season, ‘The Tank’, 26, made 26 appearances in the Premier League for ‘The Bees’.

Onyeka has a contract with the London club until 2027 with option for an additional year.

His Transfermarkt value is Nine Million Euros. He has 25 caps and a goal with the Super Eagles.
