Osimhen will be better than Drogba – Ex-Real Madrid boss, Capello

Former Real Madrid manager, Fabio Capello believes Victor Osimhen has what it takes to do better than Chelsea and Ivory Coast legend, Didier Drogba.

Drogba was regarded as one of the best strikers in the world during his active days.

The Ivorian won multiple titles with Chelsea including the UEFA Champions League.

Osimhen has been likened to Drogba and the Nigerian has often mentioned the latter as one of his idols.

The 23-year-old has hugged the headlines this season due to his impressive displays for Serie A club, Napoli.

Osimhen has been linked with the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.

He is currently the top scorer in Serie A with nine goals.

“Drogba was also awarded… The case in point is that, even if he had more technique and quality,” Capello told TMW at the Globe Soccer Award.

“But Osimhen is young, he can improve. (Rafael) Leao has more class, but Osimhen is a centre-forward, one who scores, has the qualities to be a crack.”
