Following a successful draw held recently, the 13th edition of Prince GAS U15 Football Tournament will begin on Friday, June 12, 2026, across the designated centres, organisers have said.
The teams which have been drawn into eight groups, A to H, will have them battle for a place in the knockout stage of the competition.
The best two placed teams in each group qualifies for the Round of 16 with games played across four Centres. Matches at the Igando Centre will feature teams in Group A to Group D, while Group E and F play at the Kasali Kudus Sports Centre. Group G will play their games at the Agege Centre while Group H battles themselves at the Ogun State Centre.
The chief Host and convener of the competition, Prince Sulaimon Gbadamosi, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Prince GAS Global Sports Concept, expressed the readiness of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) to put up a top notch tournament.
“We are fully ready to organise one of the biggest U15 tournaments in the history of the country, he said.
“We urge every participating team to conduct themselves in a professional manner, as we will not condone any act of indiscipline or abuse of the rules and regulations guiding the competition”, he warned.
The esteemed tournament which has the support of Mr. Fruts food drink, will parade some of the best U15 teams in Lagos and Ogun State.
Meanwhile, the screening process for the players is ongoing till Friday, June 12, which is the kickoff date.
