Qatar 2022: Okocha Tags France, Morocco Clash As AFCON Final

Ahead of the awaited semi-final game between France Les Bleus and Atlas Lions of Morocco, former Nigeria’s Super Eagles captain Austin Okocha has tagged the game as the final of the African Cup of Nations.

Former African champions Morocco stunned the entire World to reach the semi-final of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

They will come up against the defending champions France who defeated England 2-1 in the quarter-final of the competition.

The Nigeria international tagged the game AFCON final due to an avalanche of African players in the French team.

“France versus Morocco is an AFCON Final”, Okocha said.

Steve Mandanda, Eduardo Camavinga, Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembélé (Mauritania), Aurélien Tchouameni (Cameroon), Jules Koundé (Benin) and Dayot Upamecano (Guinea-Bissau) all have an African origin.
