Revelation Cup good preparation for World Cup – Super Falcons boss Waldrum

Super Falcons head coach, Randy Waldrum said the four-nation invitational tournament in Mexico will put his team in proper shape ahead of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

The tournament tagged, “Revelation Cup,” will start in Leon, Mexico on Wednesday night.

The former African champions will face hosts Mexico at the Leon Stadium tonight.

Kick-off is 11 pm Nigerian time.

Costa Rica and Colombia are the other teams in the competition.

“I think this tournament is a good one to shape us off ahead of the world,” Waldrum told NFF TV.

“I think these are games that hopefully we can do some of the things we’ve been working on and some of the things we’re trying to prepare for the World Cup.”

The Super Falcons are drawn in Group B with co-hosts Australia, Canada and Republic of Ireland for the World Cup.
