Serie A: Lookman confident leaders, Atalanta will get better

Atalanta winger, Ademola Lookman says the team will strive to get better after Monday night’s away win at Monza.

La Gea defeated their hosts 2-0 in a keenly contested encounter at the U-Power Stadium.

Lookman played a key role in the victory, setting up Rasmus Hojlund for the opening goal in 57th minute.

The 24-year-old’s shot was diverted into the net by Marlon eight minutes later.

The win saw Gian Gasperini’s side climb to top spot on the Serie A table.

It’s the first time Atalanta will occupy top position in the Italian top-flight.

“We’re working hard to be better,” Lookman said after the game.

The Nerazzuri will take on Cremonese in their next league game.
