Smart city football club of Lagos, has gotten raves of praises and accolades from Nigerians over their successful tour of Morocco recently.
The team which arrived Lagos recently, amidst a massive turn of fans at the Muritala Mohammed international airport cheering their darling team on arrival.
City who spent almost three weeks in the beautiful of Casablanca, north African country of Morocco, played a number of friendly games with top Moroccan clubs with some eye catching displays with some positive news too.
Chairman of smart city, Adeboye Anthony Adeyinka, who is proud of his players, said, he is happy with the outcome of the tour, while also promising more of such tour will follow suit.
“I am totally grateful to God for making this tour a success, we are a very young team and we have gained alot of experience and some few players have penciled down for potential moves outside the country, because of the display from this training tour” he said.
“As you know, we are playing in the NNL now, and such tour will prepare us very well for the task ahead”
“We will continue to do our best to make our fans and supporters happy”, he concluded.
Smart city who will play in the NNL in the new season, were in Casablanca, Morocco, recently for a training tour which has yielded some very positive results.
