President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will on Friday present the 2026 Appropriation Bill to a joint session of the National Assembly.
The Clerk to the National Assembly, Kamoru Ogunlana, disclosed this in a statement issued on his behalf by the Secretary, Human Resources and Staff Development, Essien Eyo Essien.
The statement said the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, will lay the 2026 proposed budget before the lawmakers at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 19, 2025.

It directed all accredited persons to report at their duty posts no later than 11:00 a.m., warning that latecomers would be denied access to the National Assembly complex for security reasons.
The statement also advised non-accredited persons to stay away from the National Assembly on the day of the presentation.
It further stated that, except for the GNA, DENA, CS, CHR and their deputies, all staff members are to park their vehicles at designated spaces at the Annex or the new car park by the National Assembly Service (NASS) Gate.
The Clerk urged strict compliance with the directives by all concerned.
