Dutch midfielder, Frenkie De Jong has accepted a move from Barcelona to Manchester United this summer.
The player gave a green light for his transfer to happen, having earlier said he wanted to remain at Nou Camp.
The Netherlands international is currently United’s No 1 summer transfer target as his countryman, Ten Haag looks to rebuild a team that struggled last season.
Barcelona is demanding the sum of £65m in order for the transfer to take place.
With De Jong happy to leave Catalonia for Old Trafford, all that is left now is for the Red Devils to agree on a fee with his current employers.
The Catalan side needs to sell this summer to help stabilise the club’s precarious finances.
