Chelsea has reportedly completed all the paperwork with Leicester for their £70 million Wesley Fofana deal.
According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, the specifics between the clubs are now all dealt with.
It claimed that once he completes the second part of his medical in New York, he will sign his contract with the Blues.
Fofana is expected to pen a six-year deal at Stamford Bridge and fulfil his dream of emulating Didier Drogba by playing for Chelsea.
Meanwhile Blues winger, Callum Hudson-Odoi has travelled to Germany to complete a season-long loan move to Bayer Leverkusen.
The 21-year-old has agreed on a Bundesliga switch, with Chelsea happy for England forward to head out on a temporary deal.
Chelsea is determined to keep Hudson-Odoi in the long term, with Blues bosses hoping the talented attacker can find full sharpness and form at Leverkusen.
Hudson-Odoi had been the subject of strong interest, with the likes of Newcastle and Southampton courting the former England youth star.
But a loan move to the Bundesliga suits all parties, with Hudson-Odoi itching for regular game time.
