Warri Wolves Promotion is Sweet Music to the Ears

The Chairman of the Delta State Football Association Chief Godwin Adode has described Warri Wolves Football Club of Warri’s promotion as a sweet song that gladdens the heart.

Chief Adode who was speaking after the Seasiders returned to the elite Nigeria Professional Football League said their return would reignite the football culture in the state.

The DFA Chairman said that Warri Wolves had energized the hopes of young Deltans who would now dream of playing at the highest level in the country as well as the hopes of taking their trade to the international scene.

Chief Adode thanked Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for his unwavering support and dedication to sports development in the state saying Warri Wolves promotion was part of the harvest for his hard work in the sports sector.

He also lauded the Chairman of the Delta State Sports Commission Mr. Onoriode Oborevwori for working assiduously to ensure that the State returned to the top echelon of Nigerian football and urged him not to relent in the quest to take the club to the African continent.

Chief Adode also thanked the managment and players of Warri Wolves for bringing smiles back to the faces of the vociferous football fans sread across the state saying they had made Deltans proud.

He assured them that the DFA would continue to support all the teams representing the state in any football competition as the DFA under his watch was keen on reinvigorating the football culture in the state through the organization of tournaments to help improve the talents of the players.

The DFA henchman however charged Warri Wolves players to go all out for victory against William Tourists Football Club of Bauchi in the final of the NNL Super 8 as that would be the icing on the cake.

The final of thee NNl Super 8 will hold at the Steven Keshi International Stadium Asaba with the match expected to kickoff at 3pm on Saturday.
