Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has admitted that Kevin De Bruyne made him suffer when he played in Germany.
At the time, De Bruyne was plying his trade with Wolfsburg while Guardiola was in charge of Bayern Munich.
Guardiola, speaking on the seventh anniversary of the playmaker’s move to City, applauded De Bruyne for his displays for the Premier League side since he arrived.
“Well, it was a really good signing for Manchester City, seven years is many, many years, and he has done brilliantly since then.
“Before he came here, I knew him from Germany, I suffered from him when I was at Bayern and he was at Wolfsburg and I like how he has performed in this time,” Guardiola said on Tuesday.
