EPL: He’s best in the world, extraordinary – Antony hails Ronaldo

Date:

New Manchester United’s winger, Antony has described Cristiano Ronaldo as the best player in the world.

He hailed the Portuguese superstar as ‘extraordinary’, after playing alongside the legendary forward for the first-time last week.

Antony joined Manchester United over the summer and was thrown straight into United’s starting XI for last Sunday’s clash with Arsenal

The Brazilian quickly impressed the Old Trafford faithful with a debut goal that put Manchester United in the lead and was later substituted for Ronaldo.

The Brazil winger finally played alongside the Portuguese superstar last Thursday in the opening Europa League game of the campaign.

“Words can’t describe Cristiano, the best in the world,’ the 22-year-old told ManUtd.com.

“In just a few days, I’ve learnt a lot from him. He has an extraordinary mind and, whenever I talk to him, I take a lot from it.”
