Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has congratulated former President Goodluck Jonathan on his 68th birthday, marked today, November 20, 2025.
In a statement issued on Thursday by his Chief Press Secretary, Nelson Chukwudi, the governor praised Jonathan’s unwavering commitment to democracy, peace, and national development. He said the former President’s leadership at home and across Africa remains a model of patriotism and statesmanship.

“On behalf of my family, the Government and people of Rivers State, I warmly congratulate His Excellency, Dr Goodluck Jonathan, on his birthday,” Fubara said.
“We celebrate his outstanding contributions to Nigeria’s progress, especially during his tenure as President. His dedication to democracy, unity, and stability has earned him deep respect and global acclaim.”
Fubara wished Jonathan good health, clarity of mind and many more fulfilling years, praying that God continues to grant him the wisdom and strength to serve humanity.
