Brazil forward Neymar will remain sidelined for the team’s second Group-stage match against Haiti on Saturday as he continues his recovery from injury.
The 34-year-old missed Brazil’s opening fixture against Morocco, which ended 1-1, and has now been ruled out of the encounter scheduled for Philadelphia, United States.

Brazilian media outlet Globo reported that the national team has opted to keep Neymar in New Jersey to continue rehabilitation, with doubts also surrounding his availability for the June 25 clash against Scotland.
Globo further reported that Brazil coaching staff does not want to rush Neymar into games, so he may instead be available for minutes on the field in the playoffs.
The 34-year-old has scored 79 goals in 128 senior internationals over the years.
