Smart City New Signing, Timkere, Promises Best For Club

Smart City New Signing, Timkere Thomas Jr, has said that he joined smart city to win laurels for one of Nigeria’s most prominent and prestigious club, while adding that, he will also use this modest club to relaunch his career back to Europe.

The heavenly gifted attacking midfielder, put pen to paper for smart city a few days ago and has promised to bring his wealth of experience to the team to make sure they win titles, while also saying that, smart city will also qualify for the NPL next season, with the quality of players they have in their fold.

Timkere, who has played in Turkey and Senegal, also played for Dakada fc and he is confident that, joining city, was the best decision for him at this point of his career.

“I want to say, joining smart city, was a very easy decision for me, because, the club has a very palatable profile as a young club which was formed  just a few years ago”

“City has won some trophies and has represented Lagos state very well at the national level and even outside the country when they went to Morocco for a training tour, so I am very elated to be here, I want to assure everyone, that I will give my best at all times to see that I help the team to greater heights” he said.

 Timkere, has played for clubs in Turkey, Senegal, he also played for Dakada, and he is confident of having a wonderful season with smart city, which will propel a move to Europe.
