Nigeria forward Umar Sadiq is on the verge of joining Bundesliga giants, Borussia Dortmund, according to reports.
Dortmund sold their talismanic striker, Erling Haaland to Manchester City this summer and his replacement Sebastian Haller is expected to spend several months on the sidelines after he was diagnosed with a testicular tumour.
The former European champions have identified Sadiq as the perfect replacement for the Cameroon striker.
Dortmund has reportedly agreed on a deal for Sadiq and will pay as much as €30 million including add-ons.
The 25-year-old scored 18 goals and recorded 12 assists in 36 league appearances to help Almeria secure promotion to LaLiga last season.
He has been linked with the likes of Benfica, Villarreal, Sevilla and Valencia this season.
