United Football Championship Games Returns Tuesday May 23

Date:

Hostilities will resume Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at the Abati Barracks Mini stadium, Surulere, Lagos, as matches at the ongoing United football championship league bids a return after few weeks of inactivity.

The unavoidable break, which was necessitated by the commissioning of the new sports arena by government, is highly regrettable as it was unintended and beyond our control, according to the UFC general Secretary, Frank Orji. “The LOC/LMC have therefore resolved and put in place plans to ensure the league gets to it’s expected height and success, he said.

“We therefore solicit total commitment and cooperation from all club Owners to guarantee a seamless run in the season.
“We sincerely regret any inconveniences the two weeks break must have caused our partners, fans, stakeholders etc”, he concluded.

Meanwhile some of the star matches scheduled for this week are: Diadem Stallion will face Power of De Cross, Ajuwa FC will slog it out with R2Finesse, Depros FC against Goshen Stars FC while L. Mirado FC and Starbase FC will try each other for size, for the Tuesday games.

On Thursday, it will be the mother of all battles between Ajuwa FC and BE Arena FA. Other matches slated for same day include Depros FC against Spartans, Mavlon FC battles L. Mirado FC while Glorious Day FA tangos R2Finesse FA.
