Emmanuel Kwesi Mensah, assistant coach of Hasaacas Ladies from Ghana, has confidently stated that his team has devised a strategic plan to overcome Edo Queens in their crucial second group match of the WAFU B CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers.
The Ghanaian champions were held to a goalless draw by Etincelles of Burkina Faso in their opening game, while Edo Queens secured a dominant 5-0 victory over AS Garde Nationale of Niger Republic.
Mensah mentioned that they have closely analyzed Edo Queens and are well-prepared to tackle them effectively in the upcoming group stage encounter.
“We have the opportunity to watch them and we are working on ways to approach the game,” Mensah said.
“They ( Edo Queens) are a team that possessed very well, and technically, they are very good. ” I watched every one of their players; from the goalkeeper to the last man and they are very good.
” I have observed them, and I noticed that they need too much space to operate; we came here prepared for them ( Edo Queens), and we know how to stop them.”
