Football365 reveals Liverpool’s initiative to offload the 33-year-old to Atletico Madrid as part of a strategic overhaul post-Klopp’s departure. However, Atletico Madrid reportedly remains uninterested, preferring players with lower profiles and wages to maintain financial stability.

Van Dijk, who earns £220,000 per week excluding bonuses according to Capology, remains a prized asset despite Liverpool’s attempts to initiate change.
